Flu Clinic Bookings

We are now taking bookings for our Flu Clinics

  • Were you born before or on 31/03/1958?
  • Do you have any of the following conditions:
    • heart disease
    • liver disease
    • kidney disease
    • respiratory disease (e.g. COPD or Asthma and are taking steroid inhalers)
    • diabetes
    • compromised immune system (e.g. cancer, leukaemia, AIDS or taking immuno-suppressive medication such as methotrexate or azathioprine)
    • neurological/brain disease (e.g. cerebral palsy, Parkinsons) or have had a stroke
    • learning disabilities
  • Are you pregnant?
  • Do you live with someone who has a compromised immune system?
  • Do you work in a residential / nursing home?

If Yes, you are eligible to receive a free NHS flu vaccination.

Patients born between 01/04/1958 and 31/03/1973 who do not meet any of the above criteria, will also become eligible to receive a free NHS flu vaccination after the 15th October – You will not be able to have a vaccination before this date.

If you are eligible, please call the surgery to book an appointment. Alternatively, if you have registered for GP Online Services, these appointments are available to book online; please refer to the instructions below if booking online.

When booking online please make sure you are booking into the correct clinic:

  • Patients born before or on 31/03/1958, please book into the ‘AGED OVER 65 FLU’ appointment slot
  • Patients born on or after 01/04/1958, please book into the ‘AGED UNDER 65 FLU’ appointment slot

Please note that flu clinic appointments booked online by patients who do not meet the above eligibility criteria will be cancelled.
